2015 Barisieur™ by Josh Renouf Design

I rather like the Barisieur™, a unique version of the teasmade from product designer Josh Renouf. This extraordinary gadget harks back to the bubbling steam pressure principles of Victorian coffee syphons (somehow managing to avoid looking like a chemistry set), references the classic Swan DO1 along the way, and ends up as an undeniably sleek and artistic bedside machine. Nice work!

The Barisieur™ addresses one of the commonest concerns people have about teasmades – keeping the milk cold overnight. It features the world’s smallest mini-fridge! Another nic touch is the ‘brew delay’ button on the side. When this is set, the Barisieur™ will wake you up 5 minutes before the alarm.
