Luminous Paint

Luminous Paint

Mike advises: Minute and hour hands were originally painted with luminous paint that was radioactive; the nannies have banned it. You can get luminous compound from clock material dealers. It is not always that good, so use it if you want, or use some dayglo green paint.

The best luminous paint for the clock hands and dial is available from clock suppliers Meadows and Passmore. It is fairly expensive, but 150ml should do 100 teasmades! Grease and oil for the clock is also available from them.
