The new streamlined, coronation model, the LGH 2000, was launched in September 1953, at £9/15/-. At the time of its launch Hawkins was still selling the LGH 1200c and the Tiffee. I believe this was the first model based on Registered Design number 858238, which was registered in 1950. The patent number was 661601 published on 21st November 1951. An advert in a 1954 electrical catalogue lists the price of the 2000 as £7-15-9 wholesale, incorrectly giving the picture of a 1200.
