Charles Maynard Walker

Charles Maynard Walker was born in Bedford, Bedfordshire on March 23, 1846. He settled in Dulwich, where he worked as a gas engineer and inventor.

Charles invented the Early Riser’s Friend in 1891. His full story, and that of his father, is told in my book.

There are no known photos of Charles, so this image is my own impression of how he might have looked.
