Robert Absolom confirms that this renaming probably coincided with his departure from the business. From about 1934 George Absolom traded as Teesmade Co, mirroring the name of his invention, the Teesmade. Unfortunately no records remain at Companies House for Teesmade Co. Robert Absolom believes that following the Teesmade Cabinet his father developed a model with a tapered frontage, both kettle and teapot being situated
