The D23c was an automatic 700W coffee maker featuring a self starting 24 hour alarm movement, a luminous dial, a lampshade and a coffee percolator.
An original photograph from the Goblin sales literature is shown here. The delightful illustration of a goblin character appeared among the operation notes and service details supplied with my own D23c, which was probably purchased in 1953. The instruction leaflet pages are reproduced here with permission from Morphy Richards.
By 1954 the D23 was deemed unsuccessful, and was replaced by the D26.
